Overhang Privacy Policy
Summary
Overhang has no accounts and does not ask for your name, email or location. Your scores, coins and settings are stored only on your device. The app shows ads and measures usage through Google services, which collect device data as described below.
Data stored on your device
Best scores, coins, unlocked themes, missions, streaks and settings are saved in the app's local storage. They never leave your device, and they are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. It uses this data to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time under Settings → Ad privacy choices. Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics)
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is played, for example how often games are started and how long players keep playing. It collects an app instance ID, device information and in-game events. It does not collect your name or contact details.
Purchases
The optional "Remove ads" purchase is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details. We only learn whether the purchase was made, so we can turn off ads.
Notifications
If you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules notifications on your device. No server is involved, and you can turn it off in the app's settings or your phone's settings.
Playing on the web
When you play Overhang on a game website such as CrazyGames, that website shows its own ads and handles data under its own privacy policy.
Children
Overhang is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
